Marie A. Larsen Crock, 92, of Mechanicsville, died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Survivors include a son, Craig (Lorraine) Larsen of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Dianne Larsen and her husband, Mike Gorton, of Cedar Falls, Peggy (Eugene) Kellner of Fort Worth, Texas, and Susan Larsen and her husband, Alan Lage, of Oxford; and one sister, JoAnn Emerson of California. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three stepchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands.
Marie was born June 28, 1922, in Jewell, the daughter of Lawrence and Lena (Oswald) Jacobson. She married Earl "Doc" Larsen on June 3, 1945, in Jewell. Earl passed away in 1996. She later married Edward Crock on Aug. 30, 1997, in Mechanicsville. Ed passed away in 2007.
Marie taught school for several years and later worked in telecommun-ications at the University of Iowa, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of Seeds of Faith Lutheran Church in Lisbon and the Red Hatters.
Marie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to the Mechanicsville Senior Center or the Seeds of Faith Lutheran Church.
