Marian G. Marugg, age 81 of Franklin, KY died Thursday, January 25, 2024 at her residence. Crafton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private service will be held at a later date. A native of Central City, IA, she was the daughter of the late Merton Wayne Deen and Neva Irene Henderson Deen. She was a cosmetologist and was an employee of the Kendall Company for over 30 years. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the American Legion and Amvets Women's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Deen. Survivors include her children, Colleen Rafferty (Tim) of Franklin, Kathy Bayles (David) of Woodburn, KY and Carl Marugg of Franklin; a sister, Vivian Moore of Monticello, Iowa; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
