Marguerite B. Bonesteel, 95, went to meet her Savior April 27, 2025, at Heritage Retirement Community, Greencastle, Pennsylvania. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with a graveside service at 11 a.m., at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Marguerite was born June 26, 1929, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Oliver Bonesteel on February 20, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was active at her church, had the gift of hospitality, visited shut-ins and was a volunteer at Chambersburg Hospital. She was a member of the Gideon Auxiliary.
Survivors include her sons, James (Malinda) Bonesteel of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Stephen (Donna) Bonesteel of Newton, New Jersey; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Beverly (Dale) Hedgecoth of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver P. Bonesteel, in 2016; parents, Clyde and Margaret Davis; and brother, Jim Davis.
