Margie Jo McFadden, 63,
of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Margie was born Sept. 1, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Joeann (Pulver) Quint. In 1987, in Las Vegas, Nev., she was united in marriage to William McFadden. Margie worked as a mortgage assistant at Wells Fargo Bank in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, William McFadden of Cedar Rapids; son, Jamie (Tricia) Wilson of Ely; daughter, Krista (Mike) Platt of Walford; four grandchildren, Macie, Madison, Alex and Kiri; mother, Joeann Quint; brother, Bob (Barb) Quint of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Kathy (Steve) Enabnit of Central City.
Margie was preceded in death by her father.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Margie's memory.
