MARGARET "MARGE" A. WILLARD

Margaret "Marge" A. Willard, 80, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, and visitation one hour before services at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Vickie Stalmarck, George (Lana) Willard, Sherry Willard and Debra (Tom) Fleming; stepson Howard Willard; grandchildren, Severin, Shay, Andrew, Alex, Aymie, Tommy, Derek, Faith and Chris; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; brothers; sisters; and grandson.
Marge was born July 25, 1935, in Vinton, Iowa, daughter of Henry and Rettie (Rice) Scherbaum. On April 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to Howard Willard in Vinton. She retired from National Oats after 22 years. Marge enjoyed baking and bowling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association or United Cerebral Palsy in memory of Marge.
