MARGARET SCHNEITER

Margaret Schneiter, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Jones Regional Hospital, Anamosa. Private family services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello. Survivors include her brother, John (Joann) Schneiter of Marion; and five nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Hilda and Elmer Busch.
Margaret Louise Schneiter was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Monticello, Iowa. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Mettler Schneiter. Margaret graduated from Monticello Community Schools with the class of 1953. She was employed at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids until she retired in 1989. Margaret was an avid collector of many things especially coins, stamps and genealogy information.
