Margaret "Peggy" (Weber) Markle
Pace, Fla.
Margaret "Peggy" Markle, 64, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Jan. 2, 2023, in Pace, Fla. A Celebration of Life will be held in Cedar Rapids at a later date.
Peggy was born on Jan. 5, 1958, the daughter of Joseph and Pearl Weber. She graduated from LaSalle High School in 1976 and Mount Mercy College in 1980 with a degree in business administration. Peggy was united in marriage to Dennis Markle on July 18, 1998. Peggy worked at a variety of places including Wilson Foods, an insurance company, co-owning the Hotel Manning in Keosauqua and MCI for over 20 years.
Peggy enjoyed following the Iowa Hawkeyes football, shopping, collecting antiques and time with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Dennis, of Pace, Fla.; her siblings, Sr. Marlene Bakken N.D., Dennis (Jill) Bakken, and Sharon Raghavachary; brothers-in-law, Craig Markle and Terry (Kelli) Markle; sisters-in-law, DeeAnn (Kevin) Flenker, Sharon (Mark) Smith-Lossiah and Tammy (Denny) DeVore; nieces and nephews; and extended family members.
She was preceded by her parents and mother-in-law.
