Margaret “Peg” Elizabeth Adams, 98, of Tipton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Summit Pointe Senior Living Community in Marion, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church in Tipton, where a Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date at the Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Peg was born on November 20, 1925, in Hale, Iowa, the daughter of J.W. Oscar and Margaret Ida (Inglis) Kinler. She was a 1944 graduate of Olin High School and then attended Davenport American Institute of Commerce. On September 2, 1950, Peg was united in marriage to Herbert “Bill” Adams in Davenport, Iowa. The couple was blessed with four children.
