Mardena Saradell (Sanborn) Randall, of Deming, N.M., formerly of Cedar Rapids and Marion, Iowa, passed away at her home on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. until noon. Interment will be held at a later date.
Mardena was born on Sept. 15, 1931, in Center Point, Iowa. She was the daughter of the late Glenn R. and Genevieve (Falkins) Sanborn. On Oct. 6, 1950, Mardena married the love of her life, James B. Randall, in Center Point, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1996. Mardena worked as a jumbo gluer at Longview Fibre for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Highland Methodist Church for many years when she lived in Bella Vista, Ark.
Those left to cherish Mardena's memory are her daughter, Linda (Jerry) Oxley of Deming, N.M.; and her grandchildren, Kelly and Jack Oxley.
