Marcilee Marie McGraw, 66, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Living Center West. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa, with a one-hour Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Masonville, Iowa.
Marcilee was born on November 2, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of John and LouAnn (Halbleib) McGraw. After graduating high school, she went on to work for Rockwell Collins, Norand, and Quaker Oats. Marcilee was an avid baker and loved being in the kitchen. She was always trying out new recipes. In addition to cooking and baking, she loved butterflies, flowers, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Marcilee was a breast cancer survivor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Marcilee is survived and lovingly remembered by her mother, LouAnn McGraw of Cedar Rapids; siblings, MaryAnn (Jarrod) Wood, Ronald McGraw, and Stanley McGraw; five nephews and one niece, Shane McGraw, Jarred and Spencer Wood, Stanley Jr., Emily, and Seth McGraw; great-niece, Avah; and great-nephew, Cayden.
She was preceded in death by her father, John McGraw.
