Marcia Jane Bradley, 84, of Marion, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. No services are planned. Marcia was born in Cedar Rapids, on Jan. 10, 1939, the daughter of John Truman and Ruth Eloise (Oetting) Young. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Roger McCullough on Feb. 17, 1979, in Cedar Rapids.

Marcia was the most precious soul. She was the heart and soul of her family and filled their lives with love, wisdom and unforgettable memories. She adored her grandchildren and spent countless hours loving, teaching, and playing with them. She taught them that family does not come from blood but from love. She taught them all the joy of blowing bubbles, earning her the nickname, Grandma Bubbles. She loved unconditionally and gave all of herself to her family. Grandma Bubbles would light up any room with her playfulness and laughter. Her unwavering support and strength meant the world to her family and she will be greatly missed.

Marcia is survived by her husband, Roger; children, David (Leah) Bradley and Melissa (Jamie) Scherkenbach; grandchildren, Adam (Abbie) Bradley, Sam (Danielle) Scherkenbach, Nic Scherkenbach, Rean (Christine) Cuary, Jaya Scherkenbach, Amanda Bradley, Ryalie (Matt) Briles, Maya Scherkenbach, Hale Onstad, and Isabelle Bradley; and great-grandchild, Leightyn Bradley.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John T. Young Jr.; and sister, Deborah Sue Keller.
