March, Jane Ann
Jane Ann March, 57, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Dyersville, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at her home in Mount Vernon, after a sudden illness.Friends and relatives of Jane may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at The Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, with the Rev. Dennis Quinn officiating.
Jane was born June 23, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of James and Bette (Bierie) Hess. She was a 1972 graduate of Beckman High School in Dyersville. She also graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Platteville, Wis., with a degree in education.
She is survived by her parents, James and Bette Hess of Dyersville; a brother, Mike Hess of Bloomington, Minn.; a long time friend, Dave Jenk of Mount Vernon; and her loving companion, her dog, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Wanda Bierie and Frank and Elizabeth Hess.
