Marcella "Marcie" Eleanor Svestka Pernicka, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, at St. Jude's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, where there will be a 5 p.m. parish vigil.
