Mann, Shirley L.
Shirley L. Mann, 82, a resident of Heritage Acres Nursing and Rehab Center, died Sunday, May 9, 2010. A family gathering will be held. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Donald) Saylor of Vinton; a son, Edward (Lynn) Mann of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Joseph (Margaret) Cook of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Harriett (Gene) Street of Maquoketa; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Phyllis Turner.
Shirley was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, to Joseph and Nell Sullivan Cook. She married Elwood Mann in August 1946. He died Nov. 2, 1992. She was a homemaker.
