Mann, Joyce W.
Joyce Westburgh Mann of Jamesville, N.Y., died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, N.Y., after suffering the long goodbye of Alzheimer's disease.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Aug. 28, 1930, she was the daughter of Edward and Doris Gidley Westburgh. She attended Lansdowne High School near Philadelphia and graduated from Stephens College in 1950 with an associate degree. She worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids for over 20 years. She loved nothing more than spending time in New Hampshire with her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved sister, Marcella W. Knox in 2007.
She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Rick Mabie of Fort Mill, S.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Nicholas Janosi of Ann Arbor, Mich.; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Ken Murphy of Manlius, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nephews; and a niece.
A memorial service will be held in Holderness, N.H., at a later date.
