Mandy Rae Candler, 38, of Belle Plaine, passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at her home.
A private family burial will take place at a later date. Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service of Belle Plaine is assisting with arrangements.

Mandy Rae was born Jan. 11, 1978, to Elanna Lynn (McBurney) and David J. Candler. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Thomas Jefferson High School in 1999. Following high school, she spent time working at Rural Employment Alternative in Conroy and Options of Linn County.
Mandy liked playing cards and board games; she was a tough opponent, especially when it came to Uno. She enjoyed watching TV and movies, but most of all she enjoyed listing to music, especially Garth Brooks.
She is survived by her mother, Elanna Lynn Bennett, and stepfather, Richard L. Bennett, both of Belle Plaine; two dogs, Smokey and Dixie; and many more loving family and friends.
Mandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl McBurney and Lois E. McBurney.
