Doris Ann Hawkins Manatt, 81, of Brooklyn, died of cancer Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Michael J. Manatt Community Center, Brooklyn, with the Rev. John Reynolds Jr. officiating. Visitation will be at the First Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn.
Memorials may be given to BGM Citizens Scholarship Foundation (CSF) designated for the Doris Manatt Scholarship.
