Malik Xavier Cook-Bey Jr., of Marion, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Private family services have taken place. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service assisted the family.
Malik was born June 28, 2022, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Malik Cook-Bey Sr. and Zaikiah Soesbe. He was a very happy baby with an extremely beautiful smile. Malik was a strong big boy that will be missed by his loving family.
Survivors include his parents, Zaikiah Soesbe and Malik Cook-Bey Sr.; siblings, Jada and Jaylon Mason, Jaleal Williams, Makenzlee and Makiylah Cook-Bey; and loving grandparents and great-grandparents.
