Maleta Fleege Kellogg, of Lewes, Del., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Cadia Nursing Home. A Celebration of Life party will be held in October.
Survivors include her children, Kenyon Jr., Christopher, Dr. Michael, Dr. Susan and Timothy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenyon Pierce Kellogg.
Maleta was born in 1919, in Menominee, Ill., the daughter of William and Dora Fleege. She graduated summa cum laude from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa, in 1941. She married "Kenny" in June 1943. They eventually moved back to Cedar Rapids where he operated Tiletown and they settled on Lost Valley Road SE.
The family requests donations to Elwyn Institute's Adopt-a-Group-Home project, 111 Elwyn Dr., Elwyn, PA 19063; for its continuing support of "Grammaleta's" special son, Timothy.
