Mahoney, Dorothy
Dorothy Mahoney, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died at home Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Lory (Greg) Weed and Stephen, Kevin and Michael (Cyndi) Mahoney; sister, Arlene (Jim) Dunlap; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David.
Dorothy was born May 23, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, and married John Mahoney. He died in 1999. She worked in food service at Washington High School for over 30 years.
A memorial fund has been established.
