MacGregor, William
William MacGregor, 70, of Hiawatha, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper and the Rev. Jim Langley. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, with military honors. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids and after noon Monday at the church.
Bill is survived by his brother, Dick (Ellen) MacGregor of Rochester, Minn.; three nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill was born Oct. 22, 1941, in Cedar Rapids to Thomas and Esther MacGregor. He was employed at Rockwell Collins for many years, retiring in 2006.
Bill was a volunteer firefighter in Hiawatha for many years. Bill was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
