Mable Bernice Torres, 85, passed away Aug. 25, 2016, at Windmill Manor in Coralville.
She was born in Naytahwaush, Minn., on Aug. 31, 1930, to Harry and Bernice Curran.
Mable is survived by her children, Donna (Don) Harrity and Mary (Jim) Freel; grandchildren, Sean and Erin Harrity and Megan and Emma Freel; and sisters, Sarah Smith and Barbara Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Israel Torres; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Runnells Christian Church, 309 Brown St., Runnells, with services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lowman Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of Mable.
