MABLE E. (ADAMS) KULA MOREY

Mable E. (Adams) Kula Morey, 74, of Central City, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, May 7, 2018, at her home. The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will take place at Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Mable was born April 7, 1944, in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Rachel (Robins) Adams. She was married to Eugene Kula. To this union three children were born. They later divorced. Mable married James Morey. He passed away. She was employed at the Abbe Center in Marion for 27 years, retiring in 2009. Mable enjoyed collecting knick-knacks and musical stuffed animals. She loved gardening, fishing and spending time with her cats.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Roger) Lennox, Michael (Deb) Kula and James (Patti) Kula; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Karl (Rose) Adams; a special friend, Russ Tollefson; and her cat, Blacky.
Mable was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Morey; and brother, Richard Adams.
