M. PAULINE (LAPHAM) EIMEN

M. Pauline (Lapham) Eimen, 104, of Williamsburg, Iowa, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg.
Mildred Pauline Young was born Jan. 4, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of William and Jennie (Brink) Young. She attended schools in Cedar Rapids, and later classes at Kirkwood Community College. Pauline married Robert H. Lapham on April 18, 1936, in Galena, Ill. They resided in Marion and she worked for Collins Radio for 22 years. Robert died Jan. 16, 1968. She married Seth Eimen on April 19, 1973, in Oxford, Iowa. They lived on a farm in Homestead, Iowa for 26 years. Seth died Dec. 16, 1999. Pauline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg and Order of Eastern Star.
Pauline really loved living on the farm, cooking and baking. She was a great quilter and also liked to paint, knit, crochet and do needlepoint. She knitted lots of dishcloths , mittens and baby hats right up until her 104th birthday. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
Her family includes her daughter, Roberta Bounds; 11 grandchildren,; many great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Betty Falls and Helen Bluett (Bill); stepdaughter-in-law, Diane Eimen; and sister, Cecilia Boysen.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; brother, Charles Kost; and stepson, Orlo Eimen.
Private family services are being planned with burial at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, Iowa in Pauline's memory.
