M. Duane Weltha, 87, of Marion, Iowa, died on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022. A memorial service celebrating Duane's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Ascension Lutheran Church, located at 2210 Grand Ave., in Marion, where the family will greet friends and family for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A private inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation service in Marion is assisting the family.
Memorials may be directed to either Marion Independent School Foundation & Alumni Association or Marion American Legion Post 298.
