She is survived by her son, Rod (Mary Kay) Starks, Delhi; a grandson, Raymond Joel (Zachary) Starks-Taylor; and two brothers, Marvin and Kenney Marsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Raymond in 1984, her husband Don in 2006 and siblings Richard, William, Robert, Paul, Adelia Eilers, Dorothy Janssen and Helen Schneider.
Lynn Marie Marsh was born Jan. 16, 1938, at Monticello. She was the daughter of William P. and Helen Boots Marsh. Lynn attended the Monticello Community Schools. Donald D. Starks and Lynn Marsh were married June 14, 1955, at the Sacred Heart Rectory in Monticello, Iowa. Lynn and Don owned and operated Monty Produce in Monticello. They had made their home at Lake Delhi since 1980.
Lynn loved being a mother, but being a grandmother to her grandson Raymond was the best. She loved to play bridge, go gambling, watch gameshows, she was a Den Mother for both of her sons, and she grew flowers all around her house inside and out. She was also an avid Hawkeyes fan. Her biggest goal always was to make certain that everyone else’s needs were met before hers.
