A Celebration of Life for Lynn E. Merck, 69, of Kalona, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Kalona United Methodist Church with Pastor Gerry Kahler officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice, Kalona United Methodist Church and Pleasantview Home. Lynn Merck died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
