Lyness, Leslie T.
Leslie T. Lyness, 71, of rural Ryan, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, following a lengthy illness, at his residence near Ryan. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ryan, with the Rev. Richard Gaul as celebrant. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester and one hour before the service on Saturday at the church. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Ryan.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Lyness of Ryan; one son, Zachary (Pamela) Lyness of Grapevine, Texas; one daughter, Amy Lyness of North Liberty; one granddaughter, Maggie Elizabeth Lyness; four siblings, Mary Jean (Ross) Davis of Cedar Rapids, Richard (Margaret) Lyness of Rio Vista, Texas, twin brother, Lester (Rae Ellen) Lyness of Ryan, and Jerry (Patty) Lyness of Ryan; and sister-in-law, Carolee Bruner of Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Hospice of Comfort.
