Lyman, Albert F.
Albert F. Lyman, 97, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Hrabak Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Hubbell presiding. Burial will be in Irving Cemetery, rural Belle Plaine, with military honors. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, David (Nancy) Lyman of Saginaw, Mich., and Bill (Loretta) Lyman of Belle Plaine; daughters, Nancy Dane of Farmington, Mo., and Peggy (Bill) Martin of Belle Plaine; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Dora Mae (Pasler) Lyman; brothers, Glen, Melvin “Dutch,” George “Ivan,” Floyd and Carl; grandson, Damion T. Dane; and great-grandson, Damion P. Dane.
Memorials may be directed to the American Legion Boys State program or to charity of choice.
