LUVERNA "VERNIE" KLEINMEYER

Luverna "Vernie" Kleinmeyer passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion after a long, courageous battle with dementia at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by her three children, Donna Gorsh of Newhall, Diane Stevens of Fairfax and Ron Kleinmeyer. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Kim (Jim) Sweet and Justin (Sarah) Gorsh of Atkins, Cory (Brooke) Strasser of Chelsea, Deana (Erik) Ruby of Aurora, Ill., Jason (Colleen) Stevens of Dayton, Ohio, Jami Stevens of Cedar Rapids, Tosha (Brad) Dorschner of Kalona, Keesha (Joe) Causemaker of Milan, Ill., and Anthony (Renee) Sellers of Wellman; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Delores Kleinmeyer of Williamsburg.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
