Lukes, Kevin M.
CEDAR RAPIDS - Kevin M. Lukes, 47, of Spokane, Wash., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, doing what he loved - helping others, with his friends, riding in a charity bike ride.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; three children, Hillory, Justin and Jordan, and one grandchild, Addalieah, all of Spokane. He is also survived by his mother, Florence Lukes; sister, Marvalene (Russell) Collins; brother, Mark (Mary) Lukes; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Kevin was born March 3, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Marvin and Florence Lukes. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1981.
Funeral services were held Sept. 25.
Family and friends in Cedar Rapids are invited to come to the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Oct. 3, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Hiawatha. A luncheon will follow Mass.
