Lucore, Rhonda M.
Rhonda M. Lucore, 42, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a 2-year battle with cancer. There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her parents, Tom and Connie Lucore; her aunts and uncles, Pat and Dick Lucore, Joan Ryan, Richard and Kathy McGee, all of Cedar Rapids, and Pat Sheffey of Greenville, Tenn.; and many cousins.
Rhonda was born Aug. 4, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Tom and Connie (McGee) Lucore. She graduated from Washington High School in 1987. She loved crafts, animals and going to carnivals. Rhonda always lit up a room with her beautiful smile.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous or the Linn County Animal Shelter.
