Lucille Hogan, 90, died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at Lexington Place in Independence. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Winthrop. Burial: St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Winthrop. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and until 10 a.m. Thursday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop.
Survivors include four children, David Hogan, Michael (Deb) Hogan and Rose Hansen, all of Winthrop, and Marilyn (Jim) Benesh of Marion; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Kim) Benesh, Eric Benesh, Jennifer (Amy) Hogan-Althoff, Bill (Trisha) Hansen, James Hansen, Dustin (Sara) Hogan, Brooke (Ben) Martens, Tiffany (Brent) Lenox and Sara (Ben) Nielsen; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Connolly of Independence; and two brothers, Louis (Gertrude) Fischels and Michael Fischels of Independence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Kate Bovy Fischels; her husband, Cyril; son-in-law, Bill Hansen; three brothers, Vincent, Lawrence and Jerry Fischels; and three sisters, Agnes Holbach, Virginia McElroy and Leona Sebetka, all of Independence.
