Lucille Dolan, 98, went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, April 3, 2015. Lucille was a resident at the Vinton Lutheran Home for 4 1/2 years. To honor Lucille's wishes, there will be no public services. Private burial will be at Green Mountain Cemetery in Green Mountain. Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of the arrangements.
Lucille was born July 1, 1916, to William and Buelah (Chowne) Phelps.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Connie) Randall, Mountain Home, Ark.; her daughters, Janice Bower, New Port Richey, Fla., and Carol (William) Sellers, Vinton; her grandchildren, Christina (Steve) Thomas, Mountain Home, Ark., Kip (Cindy) Bower, New Port Richey, Fla., Walter Sellers, Sante Fe, N.M., and William (Merna) Sellers and David (Bonnie) Sellers, both of Cedar Rapids; 13 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-granddaughter; and one sister, Margaret Heathcote of Ames.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, five sisters and her granddaughter, Kim Ladonna Bower.
