LUCILE SEELAND

Lucile L. Seeland, 97, of Elkader, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at the Elkader Care Center. Her wishes were to be cremated, with a private inurnment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clayton Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Eydie Seeland of rural St. Olaf; a sister, Winnifred Juvik of Benicia, Calif.; and long-time companion, Clifford Wiedenhoff of Elkader.
Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther (Schmidt) Staack; and her husband, Harley Seeland.
