Anamosa
Luciel M. Freese, 88, of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. A graveside Committal Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. A viewing will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home at 10:00 am before the Graveside Service. A luncheon at Sally’s on Broadway in Springville will follow the service.
Luciel was born on October 14, 1937, in Monticello, to Fred and Edith (Monck) Blohm. On February 3, 1960, she married Meinhard Freese in Castle Grove. Luciel worked as a machinist for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids for over 20 years before retiring. She loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.
Luciel is survived by her children, Helen Freese of Anamosa, Ernest Freese (Carri) of Independence, and George Freese (Colleen) of Anamosa; and sister, Velma Hinrichs of Martelle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sister, Ella Brokaw; brothers, Marvin Blohm, Ernie Blohm, and Henry Caspers.
