Lowe, Norma J.
Norma J. Lowe, 78, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Greg Campbell. Family will greet friends from noon until service time. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Greg (Barbara) Campbell of Mount Vernon, Mo., and Tina Campbell of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Kevin, Alysia, Mathew, Alex, Emily, Lydia, Joshua, Nicholas, Gregory and Sydney; and great-grandchildren, Grant and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Helen (Barr) Gregory; husband, Galen Lowe; daughter, Cindy Thumma; and brother, Robert Gregory.
Norma was born Dec. 7, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Kenneth and Helen Gregory. Norma will be remembered for her spirited nature, her love for animals and her genuine faith in God. She also enjoyed music, swimming and travel.
A memorial fund has been established.
