Lovina Ellen Clark, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Teahen Funeral Home. Burial: Graceland Cemetery, Creston. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Lovina is survived by her four children, Susan Clark of Washington, Iowa, Robert (Karen) Clark of Douds, Harold Clark of Corning, Calif., and John Clark of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Laura Grant, Dina Thomas, Kelly Peterson, John Clark III, Shawn Bartels, Jessica Lozoga, Jennifer Clark, Theresa Duncan, Frank Torres and Tony Torres; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Earl Clark; daughter, Andrea Bartels; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Loudon and Geneva June Bahan.
Lovina Ellen was born Sept. 8, 1927, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Iva Agnes Jones Dewitt. She married Robert K. Clark Sr., on May 17, 1944, in Leavenworth, Kan. They later divorced. Lovina was a homemaker and a secretary for A-1 Disposal and Green Thumb Inc.
Lovina enjoyed quilting, flowers and gardening. She especially loved spending time with her family.
