Lovelett, Shirley Ann
Shirley Ann Lovelett 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Dec. 5, 2013.
Shirley was born May 28, 1934, in Cedar Rapids and graduated from McKinley High School. She married Robert Maxwell Lovelett in January 1951.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Dorthy) Marsh of Cedar Rapids; four children, Linda Randall and Randy Lovelett of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Robert Maxwell Lovelett II (Rick) of St. Louis, Mo., and Russell Lovelett of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, Paul Randall and Angie Wilson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Amanda O'Neal of Columbia, Tenn., Jennifer Lovelett of Cedar Rapids and Rachael Lovelett of Wisconsin; seven great-grandchildren, John Russell, Payton, Isaac and Selah O'Neal of Columbia, Tenn., Page Randall and Holly Long of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Ava Lovelett of Cedar Rapids.
She was retired from the Food Service Department of St. Luke's Hospital.
Shirley loved her grandchildren, needle point, cross word puzzles and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and her granddaughters, Ashley and Lilly.
There will be a late memorial service in the spring.
