Louise Ridgeway, 102, of Silvis, Ill., died March 13, 2014, at Illini Restorative Care in Silvis.
Louise was born Dec. 9, 1911, in Disco, Ill., to Leslie and Flora Lake St. Clair. She was previously married to Shelby Allard. He preceded her in death. She married Roy Ridgeway on Oct. 15, 1938. He passed away Feb. 1, 2000.
She had been employed at the Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield, and was a member of First Christian Church in Fairfield and the Keosauqua Christian Church.
She is survived by her children, Treva Hawbaker of Fairfield, Leota Boyce of Camdenton, Mo., Louisa (Virgil) McCormick of Moline, Ill., Betty Leslie of Aledo, Ill., Thomas (LeAnn) Ridgeway of Anamosa, Gary (Debra) Ridgeway of Iowa City and Sharon (James) Conner of Port Byron, Ill.; 29 grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Lavelle Ridgeway of Fairfield.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Morgel and Marie Linder; two brothers, Gilbert St. Clair and Archibald St. Clair; a son, Rex Ridgeway; and two sons-in-law, Stanley Boyce and John Hawbaker.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Visitation, with family present, will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday before the service. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.
