LOUIS T. SLAUSON
Monticello
Louis T. Slauson, 90, of Coralville, formerly of Monticello, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at Windmill Manor in Coralville.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Juanita; three sons, Lavern Slauson of Stone Lake, Wis., Douglas (Jennifer) Slauson of Swisher and Brad (Abby) Slauson of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Lavender Mateos, Anne (Anthony) Schons and Katie Slauson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Stevens of Oelwein and Joyce Tenley of Anamosa; and in-laws, Mary Slauson of Oso, Wash., and Jane Slauson of Webster City.
He was preceded in death by six siblings, Donald Slauson, Duane Slauson, Grace (Louis) Gudenkauf, Harry Slauson, Mae (Joe) Gudenkauf and Velma (John) White.
Memorials are preferred.
