Louis Harold Langenberg was born Oct. 29, 1932, and passed away peacefully at home Monday, Aug. 1, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, LaVerta Mae Siver Langenberg; children, Christine K. Thompson, Dallas, Texas, and Karen S. Lewis, Americus, Ga.; grandchildren, Benjamin (Keirian) Thompson and daughter, Taya; Megan (Kyle) Tingle and their children, Weston and McKenzie; and Jared Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many other beloved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Henry; mother, Pearl Wray Winter; stepfather, Henry Winter; his sister, Doris McFarland; and brothers, Dick, Ken and Gary.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this fall.
