Louis Hayward, 35, of Iowa City, died over the weekend of Oct. 8, 2016. A gathering will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, with a time of sharing starting at 1:30 at Gay & Ciha Funeral Service. Following this, everyone is invited to gather at the south shelter at Hickory Hill Park (Bloomington Street entrance) to continue to remember Louis and his love for the outdoors.
His family includes his parents, Nona France and Scotty and Joan Hayward; siblings, Ethan Richeson, Mose Hayward, Seth Dudley (Monica), Megan Dudley, Jill Medina (Donis), Nesta Hayward (Grace), Nate Hayward, Ivy Miller (Greg) and Liberty Hayward; uncle, Chuck France (Cynthia), and their son, Nathan; and friend, Nicole Filloon of Coralville.
Louis was preceded in death by his grandparents.
