Louis Francis Coleman, 81, of Manchester, Iowa, formerly of Coggon, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, surrounded by his loved ones.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lois Coleman of Manchester; his four children, Allan (Carolyn) Coleman of St. Louis Park, Minn., Brian (Rachel Bell) Coleman of West Orange, N.J., Denise Coleman (Carlos Querol) of Longmont, Colo., and Luanne Coleman of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Ben Coleman, Maggie Coleman, Octavio Querol, Grace Coleman and Liam Coleman; and one sister, Regina Fischbach of Minneapolis.
The family would to like to extend its warmest thanks to the staff at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics for the compassionate and professional care.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at St. John Catholic Church in Coggon, with Rev. Nick March officiating.
Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. on Tueday, Oct. 23, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. There will be a 2:30 p.m. Scripture Service. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery, Coggon, Iowa.
