Louie Allen Brundidge, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids.
Louie was born Feb. 16, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Paul and Helen (Wickham) Brundidge. He was a union iron worker for Local 89. Louie loved fishing, motorcycles and going to the races. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughter, Lindsey (David) Fincher of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Sandra (Lyle) Chapman of Center Point, Iowa, Paula Bruner of Robins, Sherry Brundidge of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Debbie (Doug) Phillips of Cedar Rapids; aunt, Irene Petersen of Cedar Rapids, granddaughter, Jess (Cody) Mitchell of Cedar Rapids; great-grandson, Knox Mitchell; and nieces and nephews.
Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen; brother-in-law, Jerry Bruner; and nephew, Mark Bruner.
