Lottie Louise Winkler, 89, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Crestview Acres in Marion. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. David Carrick will officiate at the service. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are her son, Phillip of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Carrie (Justin) Martin of Central City and John (Kim) Winkler of Cedar Rapids; and three great-grand-children, Montana, Riggs and Jaxson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John (1965); daughter-in-law, Patricia (2013); a brother, Walter ("Buck") Reinhart; and two sisters, Doris Seaton and Phyllis Reinhart.
Lottie was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Iowa County, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Hazel Gerard Reinhart. On Jan. 20, 1946, Lottie and John Winkler were united in marriage in Cedar Rapids. She worked for Seiferts, Collins Radio and CVS Pharmacy before retiring.
Lottie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed dearly by those closest to her.
