Lorraine Mavis Roberts, 91, of Marion, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Willow Gardens nursing home.
Lorraine was born Sept. 8, 1923, on a rural farm outside Minneapolis. The daughter of Aldrich and Mary Rust and sister of Lucille Rust (Coultrup), she married Nathan
Roberts on Jan. 4, 1941.
Lorraine was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 8, 1937. She remained an active Bible teacher until her death.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Irene Tendick; three grand-children, David (Suzy) Tendick, Dwayne (Tricia) Tendick and Carie Tendick; and five great- grandchildren.
Thank you for the cards, prayers, visits, support and condolences from Willow Gardens, Dr. Richmond, hospice and our many dear friends.
A memorial will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7121 Mount Vernon Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21.
