Lori Miller, 52, of Delhi, died Saturday, April 18, 2015, of a sudden illness. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Bohnenkamp Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Family will receive friends from 4 to
8 p.m. Wednesday following the service.
Lori was born on Oct. 10, 1962, in Iowa, the daughter of Ernie and Anne (Lasche) Burger. Lori attended college and spent the first years of her career as a nurse in Lubbock, Texas. After returning to Iowa, she worked at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Most recently, Lori worked at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. Lori loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed reading.
Surviving are her sons, Cody (Rebecca Weber) Miller and Dustin Miller; granddaughter, Brianna Lee Miller; father, Ernie Burger; siblings, Vicki (Dean) Kramer, Julie (Denny) Schilling, Lolly Burger and Ernie J. (Adela) Burger; nephew, Brian Kramer; niece, Keri Fitzpatrick; and several other nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Anne in 2008.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
