Lori Beth Kirkpatrick passed away at her home in Hartford, Conn., on Dec. 29, 2021.
Born on Jan. 16, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of David and Lavon (Eden) Kirkpatrick, Lori grew up in Northbrook, Ill. She earned her bachelors' degree from Trinity College in Hartford and went on to earn an MBA from the University of Iowa. Lori had a creative spirit and a loving heart. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Survivors include her brothers, Steve Kirkpatrick (Brenda) of Rochester, N.Y., and Tom Kirkpatrick (Djuana) of Arvada, Colo.; nieces, Courtney Preston (Mike) of Galena, Kan., and Hannah Kirkpatrick of Thornton, Colo.; nephews, Henry Kirkpatrick of Denver, Colo., and David Kirkpatrick of Tulsa, Okla.; and longtime companion, Nino Jordan of Hartford, Conn.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City followed by a brief service. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
