Loretta Svoboda, 85, of Pleasantview Home in Kalona, formerly of Luzerne, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 9, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Loretta is survived by her son, DeWayne (Holly) Svoboda; grandchildren, Shanna (John) Hillier, Jared (Sarah) Freel, Mathew (Julia) Freel and Cameron (Emily) Svoboda; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte (Dave) Powell, Darrell (Jan) Harris, Don (Betty) Harris; and sister-in-law, Diane Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Wanda Harris; husband, Tony; daughters, Chris Freel, Michelle Wagner and brother, Larry Harris.
Loretta grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Jefferson High School. She loved gardening, camping in Minnesota, fishing, and cooking. She will be greatly missed by her family.
